Unique filters are one of the special features of Voxelizer. They allow you to refine your model, repair it and apply advanced transformation. In this short tutorial we will see how we use them.
Let’s start by voxelizing a model and going into the Filters tab.
Here you will find all the filters with the their descriptions and parameters. For our elephant we will choose a Voronoi surface filter. To make it look more interesting and more printable we will modify the point number to 500 and the points minimum distance to 2 mm. Then, after selecting the object, we click apply.
The object already looks great but it is still a bit “rough.”
To fix this, we can apply the Smooth filter twice.
Now our model is ready. We can apply the printing presets, generate the g-code and print it!
