Filters are one of the main features of Voxelizer. They allow you to refine your model, fix it and apply advanced transformation. In this short tutorial we will see how we can use them.

Let’s start by voxelizing a model and going into the Filters tab.

Here you will find all the filters with the relative description and parameters. For our elephant we will choose a Voronoi surface filter. To make it look more interesting and printable we will modify the point number to 500 and the points minimum distance to 2 mm. Then, after selecting the object, we click apply.

The object looks already great but it is somehow a bit “rough” still.

To fix this, we can apply a Smooth filter twice.

Now our model is ready. We can apply the printing presets, generate the g-code and print it!
